Senaru

Senaru is like a little treasure chest on the slopes of Mount Rinjani, packed with surprises at every turn. First up, the magical Tiu Kelep Waterfall. It’s not just a sight, it’s an experience! Imagine walking through lush jungle paths, hearing the roar of the falls, and feeling that cool mist on your face. A natural shower never felt so good!

Driving through the surroundings of Senaru, will make you stop every 10 seconds for another amazing viewpoint. Rolling rice terraces, charming little villages, and, in the distance, the sparkling sea. These views make you want to hit pause and just soak it all in.

But Senaru isn’t just about nature; it’s also about culture. A stroll through the traditional Sasak village is like stepping into another era. The locals are full of smiles and eager to share their crafts, from weaving to cooking. Also worth a visit is the old wooden mosque, which stands quietly as a reminder of the village’s deep roots.

And let’s not forget the rice wine! Sweet, a little tangy, and totally unique. One sip, and you’ll understand why the locals (and me) love it so much.

Whether you’re popping in for a day tour or staying a bit longer to soak up the vibes (or start your Rinjani climb), Senaru is the kind of place that steals your heart and leaves you wanting more.
